The SCB 70 distribution block from the SIMBLOCK series is a solid solution for safely connecting and splitting aluminum (Al) and copper (Cu) conductors in electrical installations. Designed to operate at voltages up to 1000 V AC/DC, it is perfect for both industrial applications and modern low-voltage switchboards. Construction and user parameters

The SCB 70 block stands out with its high current parameters – 300A for copper conductors and 185A for aluminum conductors. It supports conductors with a cross-section of up to 70 mm² (50 mm² for Al/Cu respectively), making it an ideal choice for high-power supply systems. Two-sided clamping with Allen screws ensures uniform electrical contact and exceptional connection durability, even under high loads. This is particularly important in applications exposed to vibration or frequent load changes.

Safety and mounting

Made of high-quality thermoplastic material with a flammability class of UL94 V0, the SCB 70 block ensures safe operation. Full enclosure protects against accidental contact with live parts. Mounting is done on a standard TS 35 (TH-35) rail, which guarantees stable seating and easy integration with existing infrastructure. The compact design saves space in the switchboard, which is especially important in applications with limited space.
