Distribution block – reliable connection for Al and Cu conductors

The SCB 25-2 SIMBLOCK distribution block is a single-pole solution designed for the safe connection of aluminum (Al) and copper (Cu) conductors in industrial installations, commercial buildings, and modern low-voltage switchboards. Adapted to operate at voltages up to 1000 V AC/DC, it is a key element in ensuring stable and safe power distribution.

Construction and parameters

This distribution block is distinguished by its solid construction and well-thought-out technical solutions. Conductors are fixed with two screws, ensuring a stable electrical connection and even pressure on the conductor. This eliminates the risk of loosening connections, increasing the reliability of the system during long-term operation. The rated current is 152A for aluminum conductors and 100A for copper conductors, and the permissible conductor cross-section is 4x25mm² for Al and 4x16mm² for Cu.

Compact dimensions and easy mounting

The compact design – only approx. 41 mm wide – allows for efficient use of space on the TS 35 mounting rail. This is particularly important in modern switchboards, where every millimeter counts. Mounting is simple and quick thanks to the standard mounting on the DIN TS 35 rail, which translates into time savings during installation. The housing made of thermoplastic material with flammability class UL94 V0 ensures safe use, protecting against accidental contact with live parts.
