The SCB 25-2 SIMBLOCK distribution block is a single-pole solution designed for safe and efficient connection of aluminum (Al) and copper (Cu) wires. This product is used in industrial installations, commercial buildings and modern low-voltage switchboards where high reliability and safety are required. Its compact design makes it ideal for use in space-constrained areas.

Construction and parameters

The SCB 25-2 block is distinguished by a solid construction and well-thought-out technical solutions. The two-point wire clamping system ensures a stable connection and even pressure on the conductor, minimizing the risk of loosening connections during operation. It is adapted to work with aluminum and copper wires with cross-sections of 2.5–25 mm² (solid wire) and 1.5–16 mm² (stranded wire with ferrule), respectively. The rated voltage is 1000V, and the rated current for copper wires is 100A, while for aluminum wires – 152A. The module width is only approx. 34.2 mm, which allows for optimal use of space on the TS 35 mounting rail.

Safety and installation

Safety is a key aspect of this product. The housing made of thermoplastic material with a flammability class of UL94 V0 provides protection against accidental contact with live parts and resistance to high temperatures. Installation of the SCB 25-2 block is extremely simple and quick – just mount it on a standard DIN rail TS 35. This translates into time savings during installation and minimizes the risk of installation errors. Additionally, the block has the manufacturer's marking SIMET, which guarantees its quality and compliance with applicable standards.
