Construction and materials

The materials used are resistant to the action of many media, which increases the versatility of the valve's application. The gray cast iron is protected with epoxy paint, which further protects against corrosion.

The valve is used in a wide range of industrial and construction installations, including water supply, heating, cooling and technological installations. It is particularly recommended for places with an increased risk of water hammer. It can be mounted in any position, which facilitates its integration with existing infrastructure.

The valve is characterized by a nominal diameter of DN 200 (corresponding to 8 inches) and is designed to operate at a nominal pressure of PN 16, amounting to 1.6 MPa. The operating temperature range is from -10°C to 100°C. It has PN16 flanged connections, and the body is made of cast iron GG 25 (GJL-250), which ensures its mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.

The valve meets the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/UE and has ACS approval, which confirms its compliance with applicable safety standards and norms. The profiled shape of the body minimizes hydraulic losses, affecting the energy efficiency of the system. The internal bronze guide sleeve ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation of the valve. The flat EPDM gasket provides an excellent seal.
