Check valve flanged type 402 DN40 149B2281
Flanged check valve – reliable installation protection
The type 402 flanged check valve is a solid and versatile device designed to protect installations from backflow of liquids and gases. Made of high-quality cast iron, it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation in various conditions. This is particularly important in pumping systems, tanks and transmission networks, where preventing the return of the medium is crucial for the proper functioning of the entire installation.
This valve is characterized by a simple construction and ease of installation, which will be appreciated by both professional installers and end users. Thanks to the use of an EPDM gasket, it provides excellent tightness, minimizing the risk of leaks and medium losses. In addition, a stainless steel spring allows the valve to operate in any position, increasing its flexibility and range of applications.
Construction and characteristic features
The valve construction is based on a body made of cast iron GG 25 (GJL-250), which guarantees resistance to pressure and corrosion. The profiled shape of the body minimizes hydraulic losses, affecting the energy efficiency of the system. The internal guide sleeve for the stem made of bronze ensures smooth and precise operation of the closing mechanism. The valve meets the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU, confirming its safety and compliance with applicable standards.
The type 402 check valve is available in a diameter of DN40, making it an ideal solution for installations with medium throughput. It can be used in potable water systems, industrial applications and heating installations. A cable cutout facilitates cooperation with submersible pumps, and disassembly and assembly are simplified thanks to the intuitive design. The epoxy-painted body provides additional corrosion protection. The body material is cast iron GG 25 (GJL-250), the pressure class is PN 10, the gasket is made of EPDM and the operating temperature is in the range of -10°C to 100°C.
