The ZKB type flanged vibration isolator is a structural element designed for piping installations, the main task of which is to dampen vibrations and compensate for length changes. This reduces the transmission of noise and vibration to the building structure, and also protects pipelines from damage caused by stress. Made of EPDM rubber and galvanized steel, it combines flexibility and durability, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation.
Construction and application
The ZKB connector is widely used in heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and industrial installations. Its construction based on the combination of a rubber damping element with steel flanges allows for easy installation and integration with existing infrastructure. The flanges are drilled according to PN10 and PN16 standards, ensuring compatibility with various types of pipes and fittings. The use of ZKB connectors allows for compensation of thermal expansion of pipelines, reduction of noise generated by operating equipment (e.g. pumps, fans) and protection of the installation against the effects of vibration.
