MPI-536 offers a wide range of measurements, including loop impedance, RCD parameters, insulation resistance (up to 2500 V), grounding resistance, protective conductor continuity, as well as phase sequence testing and lighting measurement. Equipped with an RCD analysis function and the ability to test residual current devices with an increasing leakage current value, it provides an accurate assessment of the operation of protection systems. Additionally, the meter allows for measuring the internal resistance of the network and testing electric vehicle charging stations with vehicle status simulation. The built-in RCD analysis function allows for a detailed diagnosis of the operation of these key safety elements.

The Sonel MPI-536 is equipped with a large, 7-inch touchscreen LCD with high resolution (800x480 pixels), which ensures comfortable operation and easy reading of measurement results even in difficult lighting conditions. An intuitive user interface and a built-in help system with measurement diagrams make it easy to work even for less experienced users. A removable microSD card allows for easy expansion of memory capacity and archiving of measurement data. MPI-536 offers advanced features such as visualization of measurement waveforms (R(t)/U(t), R(t)/I(t), U(t)/I(t), I(U)), calculation of absorption and temperature coefficients during insulation resistance measurement. Automatic measurement of insulation resistance of wires or cables (using the optional AutoISO-2500 adapter) and the ability to create custom measurement sequences (autotests) significantly speed up and facilitate work. The meter also has a function for testing residual current devices in Auto mode and the ability to measure loop impedance without tripping the RCD – allowing for quick and safe diagnostics of the installation.
