Earth resistance meter with Calibration Certificate MRU-30 WMPLMRU30
Universal meter for earth resistance and soil resistivity measurements
The MRU-30 earth resistance meter is an advanced tool suitable for both professional installers and self-diagnosis of electrical installations. The device allows for precise measurement of earth resistance using various methods, including with additional clamps for multiple measurements. This makes it possible to check the effectiveness of protection against electric shock in various configurations.
The MRU-30 meter is not limited to measuring resistance only. It also offers the possibility of determining soil resistivity, continuity of protective and equipotential connections, and measuring leakage currents and disturbing voltages. This is a comprehensive solution for anyone who cares about the safety and proper functioning of electrical installations. A durable housing (IP65) protects the device from dust and water jets, making it ideal for working in harsh weather conditions.
Measurement methods and functionality
MRU-30 offers a wide range of measurement methods, adapted to different situations and needs:
- Earth resistance measurement: Technical method (3p, 4p) with auxiliary electrodes and using clamps (for multiple earthing). The two-clamp method allows measurements without the need to drive probes into the ground.
- Soil resistivity measurement: Wenner method – useful when designing new earthing installations.
- Continuity measurement of protective and equipotential connections: With auto-zeroing function (200mA current), compliant with PN-EN 61557-4.
- Additional functions: Measurement of auxiliary electrode resistance, disturbing voltage and the possibility of selecting the measurement voltage (25V/50V).
The built-in battery provides convenient use and eliminates the need for frequent battery changes – it can be charged from a PowerBank or car cigarette lighter. Clear messages on the display warn the user of potential hazards and irregularities. The device's memory allows you to save up to 990 measurements (10 banks of 99 cells), and the USB data transmission function allows you to easily transfer results to a computer for analysis and documentation.
Safety and reliability
The MRU-30 meter has been designed with user safety in mind. It has double insulation in accordance with PN-EN 61010-1 and PN-EN 61557 and measurement category CAT III 300V according to PN-EN 61010-1. The IP65 protection class guarantees resistance to harsh environmental conditions. The device operates in a wide range of temperatures (-10...+55°C) and humidity (20...90%). It meets the requirements of the EMC standard regarding emissions for industrial environments (PN-EN 61326-1 PN-EN 61326-2-2).
