Two-pole voltage indicator P-6 RCD tester WMGBP6
Universal tester for professionals and demanding users
The Sonel P-6 two-pole voltage indicator is an advanced tool that combines functionality, safety and durability. The device is designed to check voltage, circuit continuity and phase sequence, finding application both in the work of installers and in self-repair of electrical installations. Made of durable materials, taking into account work in difficult industrial conditions, and yet ergonomic – comfortable to use even with protective gloves.
Functions and capabilities
P-6 is not only a voltage tester. It offers a wide range of functions that facilitate the diagnosis of electrical installations:
- Automatic voltage measurement: AC and DC up to 1000V – precise readings on the LCD display and a clear LED scale.
- Phase identification: A unique function to verify the consistency of phases against a reference phase – crucial for checking the correctness of connections.
- RCD test: Possibility of safely testing residual current circuit breakers with additional load, allowing to check their proper operation.
- Resistance measurement: Range up to 1999 Ω – useful for checking the condition of connections and circuit elements.
- Circuit continuity indication: Automatic when connected to the object, signaled both visually and audibly.
- Two-pole phase rotation test: Allows quick determination of the phase direction in a three-phase circuit.
- Single-pole voltage presence indication: Above 100 V – quick identification of live wires.
- Backlit LCD display and flashlight: Provide comfortable work in low light conditions.
- HOLD function: Allows you to freeze the measurement result on the display for easier reading.
Safety and reliability
The design of the Sonel P-6 has been designed with user safety in mind. The housing made of durable plastic is resistant to mechanical damage and drops (IP65 protection class – dustproof and protection against splashing). The device meets the requirements of safety standards CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V, which guarantees protection against electric shock. In addition, limited access to the metal tips of the probes (up to 4 mm) minimizes the risk of accidental contact with a live conductor when working in a cable harness.
The set includes screw-on probe tips with a diameter of 4 mm, which ensure a secure contact with electrical sockets, and a special container for tips to facilitate their storage and accessibility. Power supply with AAA batteries ensures long-lasting operation of the device without the need for frequent power replacement.
