Functionality and safety

P-5 offers automatic measurement of DC and AC voltage up to 1000 V, presented on a clear LED bar and a backlit LCD display. Additionally, the device signals exceeding dangerous voltage values (50 V AC and 120 V DC) with optical and audible signals. Testing the operation of residual current devices (RCDs) with an additional load allows for a comprehensive assessment of installation safety. The built-in flashlight and backlit display facilitate work in low-light conditions. The safety category CAT III 1000 V / IV 600 V provides a high level of protection during use.

User comfort and additional features

The ergonomic housing made of two-component plastic ensures a firm grip and resistance to mechanical damage. The IP65 protection class guarantees dustproofness and protection against splashing water. The tester also has a resistance measurement function up to 1999 Ω and the ability to hold the measurement result (HOLD), which facilitates reading in difficult conditions. A set of measuring tips increases the versatility of the device, and a special container ensures their safe storage. Single-pole indication of voltages above 100V is an additional function increasing the diagnostic capabilities of the device.
