Ultrasonic leak detection kit TG-1z with inspection certificate WMGBTG1

Ultrasonic detection – reliable leak and discharge detection

The Sonel TG-1 kit is a comprehensive solution for locating difficult-to-detect faults, utilizing advanced ultrasonic detection technology. It is ideal for both installers and end-user diagnostics. It allows for precise detection of leaks, tightness and electrical discharges in various installations and devices.

Universal application and effectiveness

The kit includes two key components: a portable ultrasonic wave receiver (Sonel TUD-1) and an ultrasonic generator (Sonel GUD-1). Combining these two components allows not only to locate existing problems, but also to simulate leaks to check the tightness of the installation before commissioning. The kit finds application in many industries:

  • Power industry: locating sources of discharges in power lines, insulators, generators and transformers.
  • Pneumatics and hydraulics: searching for leaks in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Water and gas installations: checking the tightness of pipelines, taps, valves and other installation elements.
  • Machine diagnostics: assessing the condition of bearings, gears, drive shafts, pumps and compressors.
  • Tank and pipe leak testing: non-destructive detection of cracks and holes.

Design features and functionality

The Sonel TG-1 kit features an analog indicator that provides a clear signal reading. The device is adapted to work with hydrogen, which expands its range of applications. Compact dimensions of the receiver (190x60x70mm) and transmitter (100x100x80mm) guarantee comfortable use even in hard-to-reach places. The device operates in a wide temperature range from -20°C to 45°C. This allows it to be used in various environmental conditions. The ultrasonic signal is converted into an audible signal for the human ear, making it easier to identify the source of the problem. Additionally, the signal is visualized on a diode scale for precise determination of signal intensity.
