The CMP-402 digital clamp meter is a versatile tool that will be useful both for installers and end-users. The device allows you to measure alternating current (AC), alternating and direct voltage (AC/DC), and also offers additional functions such as resistance, capacitance and temperature measurement. Its key advantage is the ability to make precise measurements after frequency inverters – the VFD function, which is particularly useful in diagnosing modern electrical installations.

The CMP-402 meter has been designed with convenience and safety in mind. Automatic range selection eliminates the risk of incorrect settings, and the True RMS function ensures measurement accuracy even with complex current waveforms. The built-in continuity test makes it easier to identify breaks in circuits, and the non-contact voltage indicator increases safety when working under voltage. The safety category CAT III 600V guarantees protection in demanding conditions. The IP30 protection class protects against touching live parts.

Work comfort and additional features

CMP-402 is not only precision, but also ease of use. The built-in flashlight illuminates the measurement area in dark conditions, which is especially useful when working in hard-to-reach places. The modern shape of the jaws makes it easier to install in tight spaces. Additionally, the meter has functions such as: inrush current measurement (INRUSH), peak extreme values (Peak MAX/Peak MIN) and relative value (REL). The multifunctional backlit display ensures good readability in all lighting conditions. The jaw opening is 30 mm, which allows measurements of cables with a larger diameter.
