Maxi Express/Clic&Fix gun foam 870ml 123127
Rapidly curing foam for extreme conditions
MAXI EXPRESS foam is a specially designed polyurethane formula that performs flawlessly at temperatures up to +40°C and low humidity – situations where standard foams lose efficiency and adhesion. Tested in subtropical conditions, it cures quickly both on the surface and throughout the cross-section – no need to wait long before cutting or loading.
It ensures a stable structure even at high temperatures, and its adhesion does not decrease on heated substrates – concrete, brick, wood, PVC, or powder-coated aluminum. It does not shrink despite the lack of moisture in the air, eliminating the need for additional gap filling after curing.
Precise dosing and safe connection
The patented Click&Fix system allows for quick and secure attachment of the can to the gun – simply rotate it by ¼ turn. The connector is Teflon-coated, preventing jams and leaks. The Duravall valve (TÜV-SÜD certified) guarantees consistent, controlled dosing – no spraying, no shooting, no sudden “overflow”. This is crucial when installing door frames, window sills, or shutters on hot days.
Insulation and durability
After curing, the foam has a density of approximately 18 kg/m³ and features excellent thermal insulation (λ = 0.035 W/m·K) and acoustic insulation (RST,w = 58 dB). It is resistant to temperatures from -40°C to +100°C – it does not delaminate or become brittle. It does not absorb water (less than 1 kg/m²), and its dimensions remain stable – linear changes are less than 3%. Shear strength exceeds 30 kPa, and tensile strength – 50 kPa.
Important notes before use
- Shake the can at least 20–30 times before first use and after any longer break – the mixture must be homogeneous.
- Do not store the can lying down – this may damage the valve.
- Do not heat the packaging – even if it is hot outside, heating the can worsens the foam structure.
- Protect cured foam from UV exposure – it is not resistant to sunlight; cover it with paint, plaster, or another protective layer.
- In low humidity, efficiency can drop by up to 50% – if working in a dry interior (e.g., newly constructed buildings), this must be considered when planning quantities.
