For sealing areas exposed to moisture and mold
Acid-curing silicone designed for use in high-humidity conditions. Its formulation provides durable protection against the growth of fungi and mold—a key feature for bathrooms, kitchens, and laundries. Once cured, it remains flexible, allowing it to withstand thermal and mechanical movements between substrates such as ceramics, glass, concrete, or wood.
It adheres well to glazed, enameled, and metal surfaces—ideal for sealing around bathtubs, sinks, dishwashers, and ceramic skirting boards. It can also be used for grouting tiles at wall-floor junctions and in areas exposed to water contact, such as refrigeration or ventilation units.
Not suitable for all applications
Due to its acidic nature, do not use on plastics—as it may cause degradation. Use with caution on certain metals (e.g., copper, zinc), which may react with the acetic acid released during curing. For occasional glazing tasks—such as on wooden frames—ensure the surface is not coated with acrylic or water-based paints.
Practical format and application
Packaged in a small 60 g tube—ideal for minor household repairs or sealing a single joint. No specialist gun required; manual extrusion is sufficient. Skin-over time is approximately 20 minutes at 20°C, and full curing (2 mm per day) takes about 24 hours. For a joint 8 mm deep and 16 mm wide, one tube covers approximately 2.5 meters of joint.
Operating temperature range: from +5°C to +35°C. Once cured, it withstands temperatures from -60°C to +120°C—suitable even for freezers or ventilation installations.
