Lever disconnect switch – reliable power disconnection
This four-pole lever disconnect switch RSD-4063\W03 from SPAMEL is a robust solution for safely disconnecting electrical circuits. Designed for both industrial and commercial building installations, it provides effective protection and control over power supply. Its construction allows operation in circuits with voltage up to 690 V and current 63 A, making it a universal element of any switchgear.
This disconnect switch is ideal as a main or emergency disconnect switch, allowing quick and reliable disconnection of power in situations requiring service intervention or in case of a hazard. Made of high-quality materials, it guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The yellow-red front provides clear visual identification of the switch status – open or closed.
Construction and application
The RSD-4063\W03 disconnect switch has been designed for easy installation and operation. The possibility of mounting on a TS35 rail facilitates integration with existing electrical infrastructure. Screw terminals allow connection of wires with a cross-section of up to 25 mm², without the need for additional ferrules. The drive mechanism ensures reliable operation, regardless of the switching speed. Additionally, the ability to lock the knob in the off position (using a padlock) increases work safety.
The device is intended for use categories AC-21A…AC-23A and DC circuits up to 220 V, making it a versatile tool for electrical installers. The rated operating power for AC-23 at 400 V is 30 kW, and the short-circuit breaking capacity is 6 kA – these parameters guarantee effective protection of the installation against overloads and short circuits. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against accidental contact.
