Manual fire alarm call point for fire alarm systems

This flush-mounted device, known as the manual call point OP1, is a key element of fire alarm systems (SSP) in public and industrial buildings. It is used to manually trigger the alarm in the event of a fire. Model OP1-W02-A\11-230 combines functionality, reliability and ease of use.

Construction and operating principle:

The call point has a solid plastic housing, resistant to mechanical damage and the effects of atmospheric factors (IP65 protection class). It operates on the principle of breaking the protective glass – after it is broken, the button is automatically released (type A according to PN-EN 54-11), initiating the alarm signal. Additionally, this model is equipped with an LED indicating the alarm status, powered by 230VAC, which facilitates identification of the triggered alarm. A hammer for breaking the glass is included in the set.

Installation and application:

Designed for flush mounting, which ensures an aesthetic appearance of the installation. It is ideal for use in high-traffic areas where the availability of a manual call point is crucial for rapid response in a hazardous situation. Possibility of connection to various SSP systems thanks to integrated normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) connectors. For example, a 1Z 1R configuration means one normally open and one normally closed connector.

Technical specifications:

The device meets the requirements of the PN-EN 54-11 standard, which guarantees its reliability and effectiveness. Connection wires can have a cross-section from 0.75 mm² to 2.5 mm² (depending on the type of wire - stranded or solid). The rated insulation voltage is 500V, and the rated currents are: continuous Iu=Ith 10A and switching Ie in AC-15 category: 2.5A (230V) / 1.6A (400/500V) and Ie in DC-13 category: 4A (24V) / 1A (110V) / 0.25A (220V).
