Fire alarm push button – protection and reliability

This flush-mounted, manual fire alarm device (MFR) is a key element of a fire alarm system, designed for installation inside industrial and public buildings. It is used to manually trigger the alarm in the event of a fire, enabling a quick response and evacuation. Model OP1-W02-A\20-230 combines functionality, durability and ease of use.

Design and application

Made of durable plastic, in red color, it is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The IP65 protection class guarantees tightness against dust and water jets, making it an ideal solution even in harsh environmental conditions. The button is designed for flush mounting, providing an aesthetic appearance of the installation. Equipped with an LED signaling diode powered by 230VAC voltage, it informs about the activation of the alarm. A quick response is possible thanks to two types of activation: type A – breaking the glass immediately releases the button, and type B – requires additional pressing after breaking the glass.

Additional technical information: the rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V, the continuous rated current Iu=Ith is 10A. The rated switching current Ie in category AC-15 is 2.5A (at 230V) and 1.6A (at 400/500V), while in category DC-13 it is 4A (at 24V), 1A (at 110V) and 0.25A (at 220V) respectively.
