This surface-mounted fire button OP1, complete with hammer OP1-W01-A\10-m, is a key element of the fire alarm system. Designed for both commercial and industrial applications, it provides quick and effective alarm activation in case of danger. Made of durable plastic, weather resistant (IP65), it guarantees long-lasting and reliable operation.

Functionality and construction

The OP1 type A button is characterized by automatic reset after breaking the glass – only physical intervention is needed to activate the alarm. This solution minimizes response time in emergency situations. The red housing provides high visibility, and the included hammer allows for quick breaking of the glass if necessary. The device's design allows for the installation of a single changeover contact, providing flexibility in alarm system configuration.

Application and compliance with standards

The OP1 button is used wherever manual fire signaling is required – from offices and shops, through industrial halls, to public buildings. It meets the requirements of PN-EN 54-11, confirming its compliance with European safety standards. It has a certificate of approval No. 2266/2014 and an EC certificate of conformity No. 1438/CPD/0130.

The mechanical strength of the housing made of high-quality plastic ensures resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion. The possibility of installing SP22-10 (normally open) or SP22-01 (normally closed) connectors allows adaptation of the device to specific installation needs. It supports wires with a cross-section of 2× 1...2.5 mm² (solid) or 2× 0.75...1.5 mm² (stranded). Electrical parameters are: rated continuous current Iu = 10 A; rated switching current Ie in category AC-15: 2.5 A (230 V), 1.6 A (400/500 V); rated switching current Ie in category DC-13: 4 A (24 V), 1 A (110 V), 0.25 A (220 V).
