Construction and operating principle

The OP1 button is equipped with a self-resetting mechanism (type A), which means that after breaking the glass, the button automatically returns to its initial position. This makes operation intuitive and does not require additional actions after activating the alarm. In addition, a built-in LED powered by 230VAC provides visual information about alarm activation. The kit includes a small hammer to facilitate breaking the glass if necessary.

Application and compliance with standards

The OP1 fire alarm button meets the requirements of the PN-EN 54-11 standard, confirming its high quality and reliability. It has a certificate of approval No. 2266/2014 and an EC certificate of conformity No. 1438/CPD/0130. It can be used in various types of alarm systems, offering configuration flexibility thanks to available normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) connectors. For example, the NC normally closed circuits close after breaking the glass, signaling an alarm. It is important to select the appropriate current circuits depending on the type of button (A or B). Connection cables should have a cross-section of 1...2.5 mm² for solid wires or 0.75...1.5 mm² for stranded wires.
