Manual fire alarm – reliable protection

The OP1 fire alarm button is an element of a fire alarm system, designed for manually activating the alarm in the event of a hazard. Model OP1-W02-A\01-M is a flush-mounted version, meaning it is mounted in the wall, providing an aesthetic look of the installation. Equipped with a hammer, it allows for quick and effective activation of the alarm by breaking the protective glass.

Construction and application

The OP1 alarm is used in industrial buildings, public utility buildings and anywhere where manual fire alarm activation is required. The flush-mounted design makes it perfectly integrated into the interior architecture. The device is made of durable plastic, which guarantees its durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The IP65 protection class provides resistance to dust and water jets, allowing installation in various environmental conditions.

Functionality and safety

The OP1 button is available in two types of operation: A and B. In version A, after breaking the glass, the button is released automatically, while in version B, the button must be pressed manually after breaking the glass. The choice of the appropriate type depends on the specifics of the installation and user requirements. The device has integrated connectors (normally open, normally closed or mixed), which allow it to be connected to the alarm control panel. Example configurations are 10, 20, 30 for normally open NO connectors, 01, 02, 03 for normally closed NC connectors and 11, 12, 21 for mixed NC/NO connectors.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning the electrical parameters: the continuous rated current is 10A and the rated insulation voltage is 500V. The cross-section of the connection cables should be from 1 to 2.5 mm² for solid wires or from 0.75 to 1.5 mm² for stranded wires.

The alarm meets the requirements of the PN-EN 54-11 standard and has appropriate certificates of conformity (Approval Certificate No. 2266/2014 and EC Certificate of Conformity No. 1438/CPD/0130), which confirms its high quality and reliability. The red color of the housing ensures good visibility even in limited visibility conditions. The presence of protective glass further protects the device from accidental damage or unauthorized alarm activation.
