Cam switch for mounting – reliable switching in your installation
This 100A rated cam switch is a solid solution for building safe and functional electrical circuits. Designed for mounting on TS35 rail, it is ideal for both industrial switchboards and building installations requiring high reliability. Made with attention to detail, it provides comfort and safety of use.
Construction and application
The SK100-2.423 switch is designed for mounting, allowing for aesthetic and compact solutions inside distribution boards. A black knob, mounted on a gray housing, makes operation easier and allows for quick switching of circuits. The possibility of using it as a 0-I disconnector with a knob rotation angle of 90° (e.g., SK100/2.423-D100ZC) expands its range of uses. Additionally, versions with a mechanical lock protect against accidental opening of the cabinet door during device operation – increasing operator safety.
Key features and parameters
Continuous rated current: 100A – ensures safe operation even under high loads.
Rated switching current: 100A – guarantees reliable switching of circuits.
Rated insulation voltage: 690V – allows use in a wide range of electrical installations.
Connection cable cross-section: 16-35 mm² (rigid) / 16-25 mm² (flexible) – ensures compatibility with different types of cables.
Protection degree IP65 (relative to the panel): protects against moisture and dust, ensuring long-term operation in harsh environmental conditions.
Mechanical durability: 3 million switching cycles – guarantees long device life even with intensive use.
Ambient temperature: -40°C to +70°C – allows operation in a wide temperature range.
Mounting: on TS35 rail - quick and easy mounting without the need for additional tools (mounting the rail on supports is recommended).
It is important to remember the correct tightening torque of the wires – 4.4 Nm for M6 screws is recommended – to ensure a stable connection and avoid problems with electrical conductivity. The switch meets the EN 60947-1 standard and has protection class II, confirming its safety and compliance with applicable regulations.
