This three-pole cam switch LK15, designed for panel mounting, is a robust solution for frequent circuit switching. Functionality and technical parameters

This switch is designed to operate at a rated insulation voltage of 500V and withstand impulse voltages up to 4kV. The continuous rated current is 16A, and in AC-15, AC-3 and AC-4 categories it is 7A (500V), 8.7A (400V/500V) and 7A (400V/500V) respectively. It also provides short-circuit protection – the rated short-circuit making current Icm is 2kA, and the short-time withstand current Icw(1s) is 0.5kA. Installation is simple thanks to the possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1.5 mm² to 4 mm², and the tightening torque of the terminals is 1.2 Nm.

Construction and application

The switch construction is based on a cam mechanism, which guarantees precise and reliable circuit switching. The degree of protection IP41/IP65 (depending on the front version) provides protection against ingress of solids and water, making it an ideal solution for applications in harsh environmental conditions. Thanks to the possibility of configuration from 1 to 16 segments, this switch can be adapted to various installation needs. Front I (IP65) provides additional protection against moisture and dust. A wide operating temperature range (-25°C to +70°C) allows it to be used in various climates. Mechanical durability at 3 million switching cycles guarantees long device life even with intensive use.
