This three-pole rotary cam switch, with a rated current of 15A, is a reliable solution for frequent circuit switching. The rotary cam switch is used for manual switching of electrical circuits, offering a 0 position – i.e. off. It is particularly useful in applications requiring frequent changes in motor rotation direction, switching lighting circuits or controlling heating devices. Thanks to the possibility of configuration with different front panels (including IP65 enhanced protection), it finds application both in dry environments and those exposed to moisture and dust. A continuous rated current of 15A and the ability to operate at 400V (rated AC-3 power up to 8kW) make it suitable for a wide range of industrial and construction applications.

Construction and characteristic features

The switch construction is based on a solid cam mechanism, ensuring smooth and precise operation. Screw connection of the main contacts guarantees a secure and durable connection of the wires.
