The 16A cam switch is a reliable disconnecting switch designed for mechanical switching of electrical circuits. Thanks to the possibility of configuring the switching program, the device finds application in enclosures of low-voltage electrical installations, and is ideal as a switch, disconnector, changeover switch or control switch. This model is particularly useful in demanding industrial conditions where durability and safety are important.

Functionality and technical parameters

The switch construction is based on a cam mechanism with double cams, which allows for the creation of various switching programs depending on the position of the drive knob. The OB2 housing made of durable plastic provides protection against external factors - the IP65 degree of protection guarantees resistance to dust and water jets. The switch has a 1-0-2 (1 - pole) polarity and a continuous rated current of 16A, allowing for a safe load of up to 8 kW for AC-3 at 400V. The connection of the main contacts is made using a screw connection.

The cam switch meets the requirements of PN-EN60947-3 and IEC 60947-3 standards, confirming its compliance with European safety standards. Additionally, the device is resistant to vibrations, shocks, damp heat and salt mist - as confirmed by tests carried out in accordance with IEC 60068 standards. Designed to operate in temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, both during operation and storage.
