Universal cam switch for demanding applications

This three-phase cam switch with a rated current of 25A is a robust solution for disconnecting and changing the direction of rotation of motors. Design and application

The switch is designed to operate in circuits with a rated insulation voltage of 690V and withstands impulse voltages of 6kV. It is intended for frequent switching, confirmed by a mechanical durability of 3 million switching cycles. Thanks to the possibility of configuration with various segments (from 1 to 6), it can be adapted to the specific needs of the installation. It is particularly useful where changing the direction of motor rotation is required – a dedicated switch (5.8538) allows precise control of the device. The rated conditional short-circuit current of 13kA provides effective protection against the effects of short circuits.
