Cam switch 40A, Switch 1-0-2 (4-pole), in OB4 housing. ŁK40-4.8396\OB4
Universal cam switch for demanding applications
This 4-pole cam switch with a rated current of 40A is a robust solution for switching electrical circuits. It finds application in both industrial installations and commercial construction, where reliability and durability are required. The switch is housed in a durable OB4 enclosure, providing a high degree of protection against external factors. The 1-0-2 switch design allows for flexible circuit control – choosing between two different power sources or disconnecting the load.
Construction and user parameters
The switch is characterized by high resistance to environmental conditions, confirmed by tests of resistance to vibration, impact, damp heat and salt spray. Adapted to work in a wide temperature range (from -40°C to +70°C) it will perform well even in difficult conditions. Mechanical endurance at the level of 3 million switching cycles guarantees long and trouble-free operation. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section of 4…10 mm² ensures compatibility with various types of installations. The degree of protection IP41/IP65 (depending on the mounting location) protects against access to live parts and the effects of water and dust.
Safety and compliance with standards
The switch has been designed and manufactured in accordance with applicable safety standards. It withstands a rated insulation voltage of 690V and an impulse voltage of 6kV. The short-time withstand current is 0.85kA, and the switching capacity 1.5kA – ensuring effective protection of the installation in the event of a short circuit. It has CE, RU and UA conformity certificates, confirming its quality and safety of use. The tightening torque of the terminals is 2.0 Nm.
