The manual button is to activate the "Fire switch", which will disconnect the building's power supply from the electricity source during a fire during a rescue operation. The fire protection switch which cuts off the power supply to all circuits, with the exception of the circuits supplying the installation and devices, the operation of which is essential during a fire, should be used in fire zones with a volume exceeding 1000 m³ or with zones endangered with explosion.
The fire protection switch should be placed near the main entrance to the facility or connector and properly marked.
