Safety and reliability in one – SP22-BLN safety drive

This safety drive, with a diameter of 22 mm, is a key element in emergency shutdown systems for machines and equipment. The red button with a diameter of 40 mm, set in a gray housing, provides an immediate response in hazardous situations. The non-latching design ensures that the button remains in the off position after being pressed until manually reset – which is particularly important in applications requiring a high level of safety.

The SP22-BLN drive is characterized by its high resistance to industrial conditions. The IP65 protection rating means it is dustproof and resistant to water jets, allowing it to be used even in harsh environments. A durable plastic front ring provides additional protection against mechanical damage.

Electrical and mechanical parameters

The SP22-BLN drive is designed to operate with a rated insulation voltage of 500 V and rated currents up to 10 A (continuous) and 2.5 A (AC-15 at 230 V). Short-circuit protection of the switching elements (10 A with a fuse insert) and high mechanical (0.3 million switching cycles) and switching durability (0.2 million cycles at rated parameters) ensure long-term and trouble-free operation. Additionally, the device is resistant to vibrations and shocks, as confirmed by tests in accordance with IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.

The use of this drive is not only about meeting safety requirements, but also ensuring installation comfort. The universal cross-section of connection wires (1…2.5 mm² solid or 0.75…1.5 mm² stranded) and any working position facilitate mounting and integration with existing control systems. The drive complies with PN-EN 60947-5-1, IEC 60947-5-1, IEC 60947-1 and PN-EN 60947-5-5 standards, which guarantees its quality and safety of use.
