This low-voltage distribution board, designated ROS5\I-53, is a solid solution for safe electricity distribution. Construction and application

The ROS5\I-53 distribution board is a modular device designed for wall mounting. Its construction is based on a robust housing providing an IP44 protection rating – resistance to ingress of solid objects and splashing water. This makes it perfect for use in environments with increased humidity or exposure to dust. Made of high-quality materials, it guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 230/400 V and a rated current of 32 A.

Functionality and safety

The ROS5\I-53 distribution board is equipped with a number of overcurrent circuit breakers that protect circuits from overload and short circuit. Specifically, it contains:

• 3 three-phase 16A circuit breakers with C characteristic – ideal for circuits with devices with high starting power consumption (e.g., motors). Characteristic C allows them to react more slowly to short current surges, so they can withstand starting such devices well.
• 2 single-phase 16A circuit breakers with B characteristic – dedicated to lighting or socket circuits where a quick response to overloads is required.
• 5 single-phase 16A circuit breakers with B characteristic - dedicated to lighting or socket circuits where a quick response to overloads is required.
• 2 three-phase 3x16A circuit breakers with C characteristic - ideal for circuits with devices with high starting power consumption (e.g., motors).

The lack of a main circuit breaker allows for flexible adaptation of the distribution board to specific installation needs. The cross-section of the connecting wires is from 2.5 to 6 mm², which ensures compatibility with most standard electrical installations. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500 V and the impulse voltage Uimp is 4 kV, which ensures a high level of safety.
