Manual fire alarm – reliable protection of your installation

This flush-mounted device, known as a fire alarm button OP1, is a key element of the fire alarm system. Designed for installation in industrial and public buildings, it provides quick and effective alarm activation in case of a threat. Model OP1-W02-B\10-M is equipped with a hammer to facilitate breaking the glass.

Construction and operating principle

The construction of this alarm is based on a solid plastic material, which guarantees its durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The red color ensures high visibility, even in low light conditions. The device has an IP65 protection rating, which means it is resistant to dust and water jets – ideal for demanding environments. The button operates on the principle of short-circuiting the circuit after breaking the glass and manually pressing the button (type B according to PN-EN 54-11). After activation, an alarm signal is sent to the system control panel. Resetting the alarm requires replacing the fragile element – the glass.

Installation and application

The OP1 button is designed for flush mounting, which ensures an aesthetic appearance of the installation. Thanks to its compact dimensions (113 mm x 113 mm x 59 mm), it can be easily integrated into the existing building infrastructure. The device has one changeover contact, which simplifies integration with the alarm system. Additionally, the presence of protective glass prevents accidental triggering of the alarm.

It is important to choose appropriate connection cables – single-wire cables with a cross-section of 1…2.5 mm² or stranded cables with a cross-section of 0.75…1.5 mm² are recommended. The device meets the requirements of the PN-EN 54-11 standard and has a certificate of approval No. 2266/2014 and an EC certificate of conformity No. 1438/CPD/0130, which confirms its high quality and reliability.
