This surface-mounted, red fire alarm button OP1 is a key element of the fire alarm system. Designed for use in both commercial and industrial buildings, it provides quick and effective alarm activation in the event of a threat. Made of durable plastic, weather resistant (IP65), guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Model OP1-W01-B\10-230 has a built-in LED indicating the alarm status, powered by 230VAC.

Construction and operating principle

The OP1 type B fire alarm requires breaking the protective glass and then manually pressing the button to activate the alarm. The glass is made of glass, which ensures easy identification and quick response in a hazardous situation. After activation, the alarm signal is transmitted to the control panel, informing about a potential fire. Replacing the damaged glass (order number PPOŻ-5701) resets the alarm state. The device's design allows for wall mounting – surface mounting facilitates installation and access to the device.

Application and compliance with standards

The OP1 fire alarm button complies with the PN-EN 54-11 standard, confirming its high quality and reliability. It has a certificate of approval No. 2266/2014 and an EC certificate of conformity No. 1438/CPD/0130. The device is used wherever manual fire alarm activation is required – in offices, warehouses, production halls, public utility facilities and other places exposed to the risk of fire. Designed to work with NO (normally open), NC (normally closed) and mixed NC/NO circuits – allows flexible adaptation to the specifics of the installation. Example rated parameters: continuous rated current 10A and rated switching current AC-15: 2.5A (230V) / 1.6A (400/500V). Possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section of 2x 1...2.5 mm² (solid) or 2x 0.75...1.5 mm² (stranded).
