Manual fire call point – reliable alarm activation
This surface-mounted, red fire call point OP1 is a key element of the fire alarm system. Designed for wall mounting, it allows for manual alarm activation in case of a detected hazard. Made of durable plastic, it is resistant to environmental conditions and mechanical damage. Model OP1-W01-B\02 combines a solid construction with ease of use, ensuring a quick response in critical situations.
Construction and functionality
The call point is characterized by an IP65 protection class, which guarantees its reliable operation even in difficult conditions - dust, moisture or accidental splashing are not a problem. The plastic housing provides durability and corrosion resistance. Additional protection offered by the protective glass minimizes the risk of accidental alarm activation while allowing for quick action when necessary.
Two types of operation are available: type A (the button automatically returns to its initial position after breaking the glass) and type B (requires manual pressing after breaking the glass). The choice of the appropriate type depends on the specifics of the installation and safety requirements. The call point also allows for configuration of electrical circuits - normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) or mixed (NC/NO), providing flexibility for connection to various alarm systems.
Installation and application
The OP1 call point is intended for use in both industrial and public buildings - offices, schools, hospitals or commercial facilities. Its universal design and ease of installation make it perfectly fit into any interior. The cross-section of connection wires 2× 1...2.5 mm² (solid) or 2× 0.75...1.5 mm² (stranded) facilitates integration with the existing electrical infrastructure. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V and the rated continuous current Iu=Ith is 10A.
