This flush-mounted device, known as a fire alarm button OP1, is a key element of the fire alarm system. Designed for both commercial and industrial applications, it provides quick and effective alarm activation in the event of a threat. Model OP1-W02-B\10-24 is distinguished by its solid construction and easy integration with existing systems.

Construction and functionality

The OP1 button is designed for durability and reliability. The housing made of high-quality plastic (red color) provides resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors (IP65 protection class). A glass-protected window protects against accidental alarm activation, while allowing for quick and easy activation in an emergency. A built-in signaling LED (powered by 24VDC) indicates alarm activation, making it easier to identify the source of the threat.

The device is type B – after breaking the glass, it is necessary to manually press the button to activate the alarm. This method of operation minimizes the risk of false alarms while ensuring a quick response in the event of a real threat. The button has a normally open contact, which means that after activation, the alarm circuit is closed.

Installation and application

The OP1 button is designed for flush mounting, providing an aesthetic appearance of the installation. Compact dimensions (113 mm x 113 mm x 59 mm) allow for easy adaptation to various interiors. Connection cables with a cross-section of 1…2.5 mm² (solid core) or 0.75…1.5 mm² (stranded) ensure a safe and stable connection to the fire alarm system. The device meets the requirements of the PN-EN 54-11 standard and has a certificate of approval No. 2266/2014 and an EC certificate of conformity No. 1438/CPD/0130, which guarantees its high quality and safety of use.
