Manual fire alarm – reliable hazard signaling

This flush-mounted device, i.e. manual fire alarm button OP1, is a key element of the fire alarm system. Designed for installation inside industrial and public buildings, it allows for manual activation of the alarm in case of a detected hazard. Made of durable plastic in red color, it is characterized by high resistance to environmental conditions – this is confirmed by the IP65 protection class.

Construction and operating principle

The OP1-W02-B\02-230 is a flush-mounted model with two developments (2 dev.), equipped with an LED indicating the alarm status powered by 230VAC voltage. It should be remembered that this model represents type B according to PN-EN 54-11 – which means that after breaking the protective glass, it is necessary to additionally press the button to activate the alarm. The glass is a replaceable element, and its damage requires replacement with a new one (order symbol PPOŻ-5701), which ensures the continuous readiness of the device to operate.

Application and compliance with standards

The device meets the requirements of the PN-EN 54-11 standard and has appropriate certificates – Approval Certificate No. 2266/2014 and EC Certificate of Conformity No. 1438/CPD/0130. It can be used in various facilities where reliable fire signaling is required. This button offers the possibility of configuring electrical circuits (NO/NC and mixed NC/NO) depending on the needs of a specific installation. For example, NO circuits open after breaking the glass or removing the cover (in the case of type B – after pressing the button), and NC circuits close in the same situations.
