This flush-mounted manual fire alarm OP1 is a key element of a fire alarm system, designed for both commercial and industrial applications. Construction and functionality

The alarm is designed for flush mounting, ensuring an aesthetic appearance of the installation. Made of durable plastic in red, it is resistant to mechanical damage and weather conditions (IP65 protection). Equipped with an LED indicator powered by 24VDC, it informs about alarm activation, making it easier to orient yourself in a hazardous situation. A hammer for breaking the glass is included in the set.

How does it work?

This model (type B) requires both breaking the protective glass and manually pressing the button to activate the alarm. This solution minimizes the risk of accidental alarm activation while ensuring a quick response in a real hazard situation. After breaking the glass and pressing the button, a short circuit occurs in the alarm circuit. Resetting the alarm status requires replacing the damaged glass.

Technical specifications and application

The OP1 alarm is characterized by high reliability and compliance with the PN-EN 54-11 standard. Connection cables with a cross-section of 1...2.5 mm² (solid) or 0.75...1.5 mm² (stranded) ensure a safe and stable connection to the alarm system. The continuous rated current is 10A, and the switching current in category AC-15 is 2.5A (at 230V) and 1.6A (at 400/500V). In category DC-13, the values are: 4A (24V), 1A (110V) and 0.25A (220V). The rated insulation voltage is 500V.
