Fire manual call point – reliable alarm activation

The OP1 fire call point is a component of a fire alarm system, designed for manual alarm activation in the event of a hazard. The OP1-W01-B\12 model, in a surface mounting version, is used in both industrial and public facilities. Its solid construction and high resistance to external conditions guarantee reliable operation in critical situations.

Construction and functionality

Made of durable plastic, the OP1 call point features a high degree of protection IP65, ensuring resistance to dust and water jets. It has a protective glass, preventing accidental alarm activation. This model is type B – after breaking the glass, it is necessary to manually press the button to activate the alarm. This additional security minimizes the risk of false alarms. Thanks to this solution, the installer is sure that the system will work as intended, and end-users – that the alarm will be activated only in a real threat situation.

Application and compatibility

The OP1 call point is compatible with various alarm systems and can be integrated with fire alarm control panels. It has three configurable circuits: normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) and mixed (NC/NO), allowing for flexible adaptation to the specifics of the installation. For example, the normally open circuit opens after breaking the glass or removing the cover, while the normally closed circuit closes in the same situation. Mixed circuits offer a combination of both functions. The cross-section of connection wires is 2× 1...2.5 mm² for solid wires and 2× 0.75...1.5 mm² for stranded wires. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V and the rated continuous current Iu=Ith is 10A. The product meets the requirements of the PN-EN 54-11 standard and has a certificate of approval No. 2266/2014 and an EC certificate of conformity No. 1438/CPD/0130.
