Manual activation button – safety at your fingertips
This red, manual activation button PWP1 with a hammer is a key element of fire and emergency systems. It is used to immediately disconnect the power in hazardous situations, ensuring the safety of people and property. Made of durable plastic, weather-resistant (IP65), it is a reliable solution for both installers and end-users.
This button, in addition to the function of activating the circuit breaker, also serves as a signaling function thanks to the built-in LEDs. The green LED informs about the normal operation of the system, while the red indicates the monitoring status or activation of the circuit breaker. This allows the user to continuously monitor the safety status of the installation.
Functionality and application
The PWP1 button is designed for surface mounting and can be used as a "Fire emergency stop switch" provided that an appropriate information plate is placed (included). This is particularly important in large-volume facilities or in areas at risk of explosion. The device has certificates confirming compliance with applicable standards (PN-EN 60947-5-1, IEC 60947-5-1, IEC 60947-1 and PN-EN 60529:2003).
The button design allows for two unlocking methods: automatic after breaking the glass (type A) or manual after breaking the glass (type B). Depending on the selected version, the button has different contact configurations (NO, NC or mixed), allowing it to be adapted to the specific needs of the installation. The minimum number of wires required for connection is 4 wires for the version with one contact and 6 wires for the version with two LEDs and three contacts.
