Universal indicator light for AC/DC applications

This compact indicator light, designated ST22-LB-24AC/DC-D05\P01, is a versatile solution for signaling the operating status of various devices and installations. It is suitable for both AC and DC powered systems, offering voltage flexibility – 24V AC/DC or 230V AC. Its small size and weight (only 6g) make it easy to install even in tight spaces.

Construction and operating parameters

The indicator light is designed to operate in harsh industrial conditions. It withstands a wide range of ambient temperatures, from -40°C to +70°C, both during operation and storage. It meets the requirements of IEC 60068-2-6 regarding vibration resistance (2-13 Hz at an amplitude of ±1mm and 2-100 Hz at an acceleration of ±0.7g) and IEC 60068-2-27 regarding shock resistance (15g with an impulse duration of 11ms). Additionally, it is resistant to cyclic damp heat (IEC 60068-2-30) and cyclic salt mist (IEC 60068-2-52). The IP65 protection class provides protection against dust and water jets after mounting in a control panel cutout.

Mounting and connections

The indicator light is adapted for mounting in any position. It accepts wires with a cross-section of 1...2.5 mm² (solid) or 0.75...1.5 mm² (stranded). Terminal marking according to PN-EN 50013 facilitates correct connection. The lamp base is a standard BA9S, and the lamp power is 1W for an LED (available voltages 24/230V AC/DC) or 2W for an incandescent bulb (also available voltages 24/230V AC/DC). The continuous rated current is 10A, and the rated switching current in category AC-15 is 2.5A at 230V and 1.6A at 400/500V. In category DC-13, the values are: 4A at 24V, 1A at 110V and 0.25A at 220V. The rated insulation voltage Ui is as high as 500 V.

The indicator light meets the requirements of PN-EN 60947-5-1, IEC 60947-5-1 and IEC 60947-1, which confirms its safety and reliability.
