Socket with switch and lock – reliability in industrial conditions

This socket with switch and lock, with a rated current of 16 A and a voltage of 230 V, is designed for demanding applications in industrial installations. The mechanical lock construction ensures safe operation – it prevents the switch from being turned on without a plug and the plug from being pulled out in the "on" position. Additionally, the ability to lock with a padlock increases protection against unauthorized access.

Construction and application

The socket is made of durable plastic – a polycarbonate and ABS mixture, resistant to impact. The GB01 type housing is characterized by a larger mounting space, which enables convenient through connections. The distance between the mounting plate and the housing is 30 mm. This solution works well where solidity and durability are required, e.g. in production halls, workshops or construction sites. The IP44 protection class guarantees protection against splashing water and solid objects with a diameter of more than 1 mm.

Safety and compliance with standards

The socket design meets the requirements of PN-EN 60439-3 and PN-EN 60439-1 standards, confirming its safety and reliability. The mechanical lock is not only convenience but above all an additional element protecting against accidental disconnection or damage to the installation. The possibility of using a padlock further protects against unauthorized use. The socket is adapted to the 2P+PE pin arrangement at a voltage of 230V.
