This sounder, powered by 24V DC, is the perfect complement to control buttons and indicator lights. Designed for use in signaling systems, it effectively informs about changes in status or events within the system. Mounting and Application

The SP22-SD sounder is primarily intended for signaling systems where clear and audible notification of events is essential. Thanks to its compact size, it can be easily integrated into an existing installation. It can be used in various industrial applications, operator panels, or automation systems. Connection cables with a cross-section of 2x 1…2.5 mm² (solid core) or 2x 0.75…1.5 mm² (stranded) ensure easy and safe mounting on a PS10 rail.

Sound Characteristics and Electrical Parameters

The sounder generates a continuous signal with an intensity of 80 dB at a carrier frequency of 4…5 kHz – a loud and clear sound that effectively attracts attention. The current consumption is only 6 mA when powered by 24V DC, minimizing the load on the power supply. Versions powered by AC (24V, 230V) and DC (9-12V) are also available. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against contact and ingress of solid objects.
