Fire Protection Executing Kit PWP1-UWS100 – Safety and Compliance with Standards

The PWP1-UWS100 kit is a comprehensive solution designed for manual (local and remote) disconnection of power supply in building structures, excluding circuits powering installations and devices necessary during a fire, as well as fire alarm systems. The device is a key element ensuring safety in emergency situations, and its application is particularly important in buildings with large volumes or areas at risk of explosion.

The kit consists of a triggering and signaling device PWP1-W01-A-01-2LED7, which serves to remotely activate the executing device and signal the operating status, and an executing device PWP1-UWS100 with a 100A disconnector equipped with a voltage release. This disconnector ensures rapid disconnection of the power supply in the event of exceeding the permissible voltage values.

• Wide operating temperature range: from -25°C to +75°C, allowing installation both indoors and outdoors (environmental class II).
• Compliance with standards: The kit meets the requirements of a number of standards, including PN-EN IEC 60947-3:2021-07, PN-EN 60947-1:2010+A1:2011+A2:2014-12 and PN-N-1256-04:1997, which guarantees its reliability and safety of use.

Construction and Installation

The kit has been designed with easy installation and integration with existing fire protection systems in mind. The executing device is equipped with a 100A disconnector, allowing it to handle circuits with medium loads. The power supply cables should have a cross-section of 1.5…50 mm², and the control/signaling cables 0.5…4 mm². Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the installation design.

Safety and Compliance

The PWP1-UWS100 kit complies with fire safety regulations and has the necessary certificates confirming its quality and reliability. Disconnecting the power supply through this kit does not automatically activate a second source of electrical energy (except for sources powering devices necessary during a fire), ensuring full control over the emergency situation. Remember to place a “Fire power switch” label above the device for clear indication of its function.
