Fire emergency power cut-off switch – safety and functionality

The PWP1-UWS160 kit is a comprehensive solution designed for manual (local and remote) disconnection of power supply in building facilities in the event of a fire hazard. Its main task is to disconnect the power supply to all circuits, with the exception of those powering installations and devices necessary for operation during a fire and the signaling system. The use of the PWP1-UWS160 kit significantly increases the fire safety level of the building, enabling a quick and effective response in an emergency.

Construction and application

The kit consists of two key elements: the PWP1-W01-A-01-2LED7 initiating-signaling device, which serves for remote activation and signaling of the operating status, and the execution device with 230V signaling, equipped with a 160A disconnector with a voltage release. This construction ensures reliable operation and precise disconnection of power in critical situations. The kit is adapted to work in a wide temperature range – from -25°C to +75°C – which allows its use both indoors and outdoors (environmental class 2). It is particularly useful in fire zones with a volume of over 1000 m³ or containing areas at risk of explosion.
