Internal fire hydrant DN25 – reliable fire protection

This internal fire hydrant, in a swing-out version, is a key element of building equipment providing quick access to water in the event of a fire. Designed for indoor installation, it offers effective protection and complies with applicable standards. The swing-out version (WW) ensures ease of use and minimizes the risk of mechanical damage.

Construction and application

The hydrant is characterized by its versatility – it can be mounted in both left and right versions, making installation easier in various configurations. Made of high-quality materials, it guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The hydrant valve made of Supron 3 brass ensures reliable shut-off of the water supply. The whole is mounted on a hose reel in RAL 3000 color, equipped with a water axis with a winding force regulator.

The set includes a semi-rigid delivery hose with a diameter of 25 mm and a length of 30 meters, compliant with PN-EN 694. The hose is permanently connected to the water axis using special fittings. The PWh-25 fire hose nozzle (compliant with PN-EN-671-1) is also permanently connected to the hose using an aluminum sleeve. It is worth noting the lack of clamping bands – all connections are threaded, which increases the tightness and reliability of the system.

Hydraulic parameters and efficiency

The hydrant operates in a pressure range of 0.2 to 1.2 MPa. This ensures optimal performance with both low and high water pressure in the installation. The water jet can be dispersed or concentrated, allowing it to be adapted to the nature of the fire. The effective range of the water jet is up to 11.8 meters (at a pressure of 0.2 MPa and a hose length of 30m).

At a pressure of 0.2 MPa: dispersed jet – 61 l/min, concentrated jet – 60 l/min. At a pressure of 0.4 MPa: dispersed jet – 86 l/min, concentrated jet – 85 l/min. At a pressure of 0.6 MPa: dispersed jet – 104 l/min, concentrated jet – 103 l/min.

Additionally, the set includes an information plate compliant with PN-EN 671-1 and installation and maintenance instructions with a warranty card. Each hydrant has a unique identification number for registration and quality control purposes.
