This DN33 internal fire hydrant is a comprehensive solution for fire protection in buildings. Equipped with a 30-meter, semi-rigid hose and a solid galvanized and powder-coated red (RAL 3000) cabinet, it provides quick and effective access to water in the event of a hazard. The suspended design simplifies installation and integration with the building's existing infrastructure.

Construction and application

The hydrant is designed for extinguishing internal fires, providing effective support for fire protection systems. The versatility of this model allows it to be connected in both left and right execution, thanks to the sealed connection openings offering six connection possibilities – from the side, from the back or from the top. This allows the hydrant to be adapted to specific installation conditions. The working pressure in the range of 0.2 to 0.7 MPa guarantees optimal performance in various water supply systems.

Hydraulic parameters – performance in practice

The hydrant is characterized by high hydraulic parameters, which translates into effective fire extinguishing. At a pressure of 0.2 MPa, a flow rate of 107 l/min is obtained for a diffused stream and 90 l/min for a solid stream, and the range of the water jet is approximately 4.1 meters plus the hose length of 30 meters. At a pressure of 0.4 MPa, these parameters increase to 151 l/min (diffused) and 128 l/min (solid) with a range of about 4.2 meters plus the hose length. At a pressure of 0.6 MPa, the maximum flow rate of 184 l/min (diffused) and 157 l/min (solid) is obtained, and the range of the water jet is about 4.2 meters plus the hose length. It is worth remembering the relationship between flow rate and pressure expressed by the equation: Q = K√10P, where Q is the flow in liters per minute and P is the pressure in megapascals. The coefficient K for the hydrant valve is 75 for a diffused stream and 64 for a solid stream.
