Demineralizer for heating and cooling systems – protection against corrosion and scale
This water demineralizer for heating systems, consisting of a SYR 3200 connection unit and a 7-liter bottle filled with ion exchange resin, is key to the long-term efficiency of your installation. The device effectively removes ions from the water, i.e. carries out a desalination process, protecting the installation components from harmful scale and corrosion. This translates into trouble-free operation of the entire heating or cooling system.
The 3200 demineralizer is particularly important in installations where boiler manufacturers require the use of water of appropriate quality – soft or demineralized. Thanks to it, you will avoid costly repairs and replacements caused by scale formation and corrosion.
Performance and application
A 7-liter bottle combined with a DN15 flange provides a capacity of up to 8,750 liters of water per degree of German hardness (°dH). This means that the device is effective in various water conditions. It is worth remembering that after a certain amount of water has flowed through the demineralizer (monitored by a built-in counter), the conditioning resin must be replaced – a dedicated replacement cartridge is available.
- Installation protection: Protects against scale and corrosion, extending the life of the system.
- High water quality: Provides water with appropriate parameters, meeting the requirements of boiler manufacturers.
- Versatility: Can be used in both heating and cooling systems.
- Monitoring: The built-in counter makes it easy to monitor resin consumption and plan cartridge replacement.
- Easy replacement: Replacing the resin itself is easier and cheaper than replacing the entire bottle.
Installation and compliance with standards
Remember! In accordance with PN EN 1717, a BA type backflow preventer must be installed before the 3200 demineralizer to prevent backflow into the drinking water installation. We recommend using the SYR type BA 6630 or BA 6628 Plus filling valve, which automatically fills/tops up the installation, ensuring an optimal connection with the demineralizer. Installation should be carried out horizontally – a wall bracket is included in the set to facilitate installation. The device operates within a pressure range of 1 to 6 bar and a temperature of up to 30°C.
