Safety valve 2115 G 5/4 inch 10bar brass 2115.32.152
Safety valves of the 2115 series are reliable devices designed to protect pressurized systems filled with liquid from exceeding the permissible pressure. They are particularly recommended for securing closed domestic hot water heaters, but will also work in systems with other, non-adhesive fluids at temperatures up to 110°C. Their membrane-based design provides precise and effective protection.
These valves are widely used in water supply installations and wherever protection against overpressure is required. Selecting the appropriate valve size is crucial and should be based on the volume of the tank or the heating power of the heat exchanger – detailed information can be found in the tables available in the catalog sheet.
Construction and materials
2115 valves are characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation. The housing is made of brass or bronze, and the cover can be made of glass fiber reinforced plastic or brass. Internal components are made of Ms 58 brass, and the diaphragm and seal are made of a material resistant to high temperature and aging. The spring is made of spring steel with a galvanic coating to protect against corrosion. This combination of materials guarantees corrosion resistance and long service life. Additionally, the valves are available in a chrome version for increased aesthetics and resistance to external factors.
Installation and service
The safety valve should be installed vertically, with the inlet from below. The valve design allows for easy venting by turning the cap and cleaning the seat seal by unscrewing the upper insert. For valves with a diameter of 1/2" and 3/4", it is possible to replace the complete head (model 2116) in case of damage to the seal or seat, which greatly facilitates servicing and reduces repair costs. It is important to observe the maximum tightening torque of the head of 8 Nm using a dedicated mounting key (4807.00.906).
Available parameters
The 2115 safety valve is available in various pressure opening ranges – from 4 to 10 bar, with standard settings at 6, 8 and 10 bar. The selection of the appropriate opening pressure should be adapted to the specifics of the installation and safety requirements. Information regarding the connection diameter, tank capacity, minimum inlet channel diameter and permissible discharge coefficients can be found in the product's technical documentation.
The valve has PZH approval and CE marking no. 0085, which confirms its high quality and safety of use.
