Its diaphragm-based design ensures reliable operation and the possibility of venting.

Construction and principle of operation

The 2115 safety valve operates on the principle of automatic pressure relief when the set value is exceeded (in this model, standardly 6 bar). The diaphragm reacts to the pressure increase, opening the valve and releasing excess medium to the drain. The brass construction guarantees corrosion resistance and long life. The ability to unscrew the upper cartridge facilitates cleaning the valve seal and seat, and for DN15 and DN20 models, a replaceable head (2116) is available – which greatly simplifies repair.
