Construction and characteristic features

The LiHCH cable is distinguished by a careful construction that provides high flexibility and mechanical strength. It consists of:

• Flexible strands, multi-wire, twisted from soft copper wires (tinning on request), which ensures high resistance to bending and mechanical damage.
• Core insulation made of halogen-free material (HFFR), which increases safety in case of fire. The color of the core insulation complies with DIN VDE 47100, making it easier to identify individual cores.
• Screening braid made of tinned copper wires, which protects against electromagnetic interference and ensures stable signal transmission.
• Cable jacket made of halogen-free material (HFFR) in gray RAL 7001 (other colors available on request).

This construction makes the cable resistant to abrasion, chemicals and UV radiation. It is designed for permanent laying as well as for movable connections – also inside railway and tram vehicles.
