Halogen-free control cable – reliability and safety
This LIHH 2x1.5 control cable is a solid solution for control, signaling and data transmission systems. Cables manufactured by TECHNOKABEL, with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² and two cores, are suitable for a wide range of industrial and automation applications. This cable is particularly recommended where safety is a priority – thanks to the use of halogen-free materials, it minimizes the risk of fire spreading and the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
Application and construction
LiHH cables are designed for use in control, signaling, monitoring and measurement technology systems. They will also be useful in computer installations and for transmitting analog and digital signals. Thanks to the flexible construction with stranded copper cores (class 5 according to PN-EN 60228), the cable is easy to install and resistant to bending. It can be used in both fixed and mobile installations – also inside railway vehicles, subways or trams.
The cable is characterized by the following construction:
- Cores: flexible, stranded, twisted from soft copper wires. Tinning on request.
- Insulation: made of halogen-free material (HFFR) – ensures safety in case of fire. Insulation colors of the cores comply with DIN VDE 47100.
- Core: insulated cores twisted in layers.
- Sheath: made of halogen-free material (HFFR), gray RAL 7001 color (other colors available on request).
