The use of halogen-free cables is especially critical in applications requiring enhanced fire safety—they limit flame spread, minimize smoke emission, and do not produce corrosive gases during combustion. Thanks to its specialized construction, the cable is exceptionally flexible and maintains compact dimensions while ensuring high mechanical strength. It can be used in both fixed and moving installations—including inside railway vehicles and trams.

The conductors are made of soft stranded copper (optionally tin-plated), twisted to ensure flexibility. Conductor insulation is made of halogen-free material (HFFR) with color coding in accordance with DIN VDE 47100. The insulated twisted cores are arranged in the cable core, and the entire assembly is covered with a halogen-free (HFFR) sheath in gray RAL 7001—other colors available on request.
